U dey mind them. Some of them have not even being to these places. As a truck driver I hv being to sw states capitals and non is as developed as the 3 southeast states capital and they mentioned and that's why they feel inferior any time you come in contact with them.

Kogi rank first, the Igalas have cripple that state with their backwardness, awka suppose be second to me but I heard the place have improve so much, then it's going to be plateau(esp that faringada area is hell of a place, bad road then Ekiti. Everyone who's been through Kogi knows how terrible the place is. How can a whole state be like a village? Nothing but trucks, ugly malformed houses, huts, and (lord Jesus Christ) the terrible road. Abia is another state that is terrible too.

Abi oh, I don't know how hotels or bars make a state better than it is.

The worse capital is Dutse, Jigawa State. As if they pack people out from the state.

It isn't about population but the structure, urban design, development and infrastructure that need to define the thread. I dont think there is any slum looking place in Dutse. Dutse is a small village named Jigawa state Capital and grew to how it is today in less than 31yrs. If Dutse is as old as those state capitals it would've been one of the best developing in Nigeria. Despite the odd, Dutse has MDAs that are better than all FG ministries in Abuja.

The issue is that most travellers and tourists pass through Onitsha-Owerri Expressway to The Niger Bridge on the way to Lagos or Owerri...

If you want to see Onitsha, try passing through the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway...I am sure you will be bewildered by what you will see...
