Take Responsibility — Every man takes responsibility for himself. He takes it for himself, his community, the people he cares about. Not doing this is a fundamental failure of manhood.

Take Action — Men make moves. Men make choices, and those choices become actions. Men aren’t passive. Men don’t let others choose and act for them; they act themselves.

Always be Strong — Men make choices, have thoughts, do things that make them stronger. The opposite of this law is making weak choices. Men must make choices that make them and their communities stronger. Men in fact know that the stronger they are, the stronger their communities.

Do What You Say You’re Going To Do — Men make claims, say things, tell others what they’re going to do. A law of manhood says this: when you say you’re going to do something, do it. “Oh man, but, what if I say I’m going to do something and it’s hard so I change my mind.” Does this sound like something a real man would say? Yoda it: Do or do not, there is no “try.”

Tell the Truth — Lying makes you weak, so don’t do it. Every time you lie, you’re telling yourself “I’m not good enough to handle the reality, at the moment.” Don’t do it.

Attack Your Fear — Shying away from fear, walking away from it, ignoring it, these are weakness. Men who make weak choices violate a rule of manhood. Instead of avoiding it, turning from it, go right at it. Take it head-on.

Use your head — Being strong and proactive doesn’t mean just going right after anything at the drop of a hat. Use your head, think. Passion is the death of reason. Be reasonable, use your reason, use your mind. Think about what you’re going to do before you do it, consider who it affects and how.

Be Sexual — A man is not afraid of his own desires. He isn’t afraid to show them. He isn’t afraid to ask for what he wants. The desire to procreate, to be with a woman (or another man, for that matter), is part of manhood. Embrace it.

Apologize When YOU Decide You Need To — The world, maybe more than ever, is utterly bent on breaking your manhood and your will. A GREAT way to do this is to corner you and force you to capitulate to it by convincing you to apologize for something that you haven’t decided you need to yet. DO NOT DO THIS. If you violate your principles, if you hurt another and didn’t mean to, if you feel the pull in your soul to seek forgiveness then very much do apologize, but don’t do it because another wants you to.

Take Care Of Yourself First — The world wants you to sacrifice yourself. The world wants men to die and lose and get trampled. It wants men to become hero martyrs. Sometimes men make the choice to do these things from their own values, that’s one choice. But other times, the world simply wants you to destroy yourself. Know that IF YOU DON’T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, NO ONE ELSE WILL. A healthy, strong you means you have the strength and energy to take care of others you care about. So take care of yourself first, then take care of others
