There was gridlock at the Lekki Tollgate on Thursday morning as youths mark the second anniversary of the Lekki shooting.

The PUNCH reports that many commuters were stranded as the procession led by comedian, Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni and singer, Folarin Falana aka Falz continued.

Also present at the procession were Feyikemi Abudu and other youths.

Jacob could be seen kneeling in front of the toll gate crying before police officers came and picked him up.

After interrogation, he was released and asked to leave the toll gate.

As of this time, the venue of the procession was being fled as police reportedly fired tear gas to disperse protesters.
