The Nigerian U17 Women’s Team, the Flamingos have beaten the German U17 Team, 3-2 on Penalties after throwing away a 3 goal lead. The German’s equalized in the 90th Minute thanks to goal by L. Bender.

�Congratulations to the current Flamingos, who have become the 1st Nigerian female U17 team to win a medal at the FIFA #U17WWC. Nigeria led Germany 3-0 until the 72nd minute, but gave it up as the game went to penalties, however Nigeria won the shootout 3-2 to get the Bronze��
