As at 1990,there was hardly anything in Lekki. The only remarkable place was Chevron staff quarters. It stood out. I remember VGC in 1994. Ajah was barely developed. Everywhere was forest.

Even Lagos Business School neighbourhood was empty plots of land around 2002/2003.

You might ask-how do I know so much? I'm an estate agent.

However, the Lekki-Epe road was built by Alhaji Lateef Jakande during the 2nd Republic. He was the forerunner to what Lekki is today.
