She had a responsibility. Could as well have looked for someone to cover for her. That's a child with special needs.

Such jobs come with serious responsibilities.
Reason why I'm wary of such jobs
What I would want to know though is what if it was an emirati that did this? Would same punishment still suffice?

I pity any black who think an Arab country present some Hope for greener pastures.

Camel are treated better than blacks. In Libya they're selling blacks in cages. CNN busted them.

The same way Buhari love cow more than Nigerians that's how Arabs love camel more than blacks.

They fear whites because, Whites do not forgive or forget. Do shits with them, they organize a mutiny....

But Africans forgets & forgive.

I tell you, if you offend me without cause, I will spend the rest of my seeking revenge. I don't compromise on this!

Why can't we try airing opinions with sense? A lady spends 30 minutes in the washroom, so what?
How many minutes do you think it takes to ease your bowels and take a bath? 30 minutes is a minimum, I was in Dubai for 3 years and till today still wonder why people are hustling to go there as blacks are treated less than camels there. How do mean trained professionals in your comment above, do you know her qualifications or don't professionals take bathroom breaks, try stepping out of your small corner and experience the world instead of just typing trash in your small room.

You spent 3 years and you wondering why people are hustling to go there? We should be worried why you stayed 3 years there despite everything you said.

I spent 3 years for a sponsored program, so if you are thinking of going to Dubai to seek for greener pastures, then good luck bro

U need to make a point without bashing someone

There's what we call agreement.. she signed up for the job and if she was told her bathroom break is 10mins and she goes ahead to take up the job,and if she stays longer than 10mins then there's a break in that agreement, there's a reason she was arrested and even in Nigeria, we av laws concerning negligence, you go dubai and saw the way they were or are being treated, as e no favor you, shebi u come back,so if they choose to remain, it's their own headache... u don go dubai no mean say u go yab another cause u go dubai, people wey don go different countries never even talk the way you did sef...

Ahnie hope I am right?

This one you no dey reply since,u don tire?

That is the stupid point, a lot of points will not be spelled out in you contract, coupled with lots of arabic addition, most times you sign up for a 2 year contract based of a verbal interpretation by another Arabic speaker, just ask anyone you know in UAE, that country is very unreceptive to black, especially Nigerians.

The truth is not even the minutes spent, even if it is 2 minutes. The question is who did she hand over the poor boy to before going to wherever she is going to? Don't she have a colleagues one minute is enough time for shit to happen, take it or leave it that's exactly what happens to Davido's son. Nigerians are too careless for my liken.

God bless you!

Ok boss, but you won't even know about lots of conditions not spelled out in your contract, while some are written in Arabi. I just sincerely pray nobody has to go through what I saw some blacks going through in Dubai.

30 days in prison for spending 30 minutes in the toilet.
Haba!
Black lives should matter everywhere.
When people around the world campaign and support Black Lives Matter, they’re talking about Black Americans. The world doesnt care about us. Although one of the founders, who is a Nigerian really deeply cares about Nigerian and African immigrants and even set up a separate organization to address the concerns and issues of Africans.

Hopefully Peter Obi can change this narrative. Blacks really need to be more united. Whether we’re Nigerian or Black American or Ghanaian, Jamaican, Kenyan, Haitian, South African or African, Caribbean. We’re all black of African descent. Let’s love and embrace one another and stop fighting.
