Political seasons are suppose to be a time when people are itching to breathe a sign of relief and have hope of best dividends if democracy to be delivered to them from top to grassroot areas of a any nation's economy.
However,in Nigeria it is a season of sowing pain,sorrow,crying,death and bitterness in the country.
While the masses are seen as the land and the politicians are the planters,what they sow is always evil because it benefits them.
We can call the rainy political season as the one in which polithiefcians only release what is duly meant for the people that they have been hoarding while preparing for the political season in their third year in office before election proper.
Because the mind of a typical African politician is business as usual,there is one thing common to them that they have been using to control the masses which the masses themselves don't see it clearly.
That thing is OPPRESSION!!!
OPPRESSION in simple terms means an increase in something under an illegal process that benefits the oppressor while the oppressed suffer at the receiving end!!!
Oppression also means to deprive what is duly meant for the masses at a time of emergency because of I'll profits and selfish gain.
Oppression also means to later release what is meant for the masses after the time of usefulness to them for such things have passed .
There is no unprofitable time for an oppressor because they always benefit while the oppressed always suffer.
Oppression also means a cyclical form of makeshift sugar coated project put in place only to profit corrupt politicians while the society is milked.
That is what oppression is all about!!!
Oppression can be man made ie some group of people just sit down on the comfort of their homes or offices and plan how poor and innocent and needy people would suffer that would benefit them as oppressors.
This is how the season of oppression thrives in Nigeria because the politicians are the oppressors
They create problems to benefit illegally anf then solve the same problems to benefit legally again.
It's unfortunate most businesses are owned by these same set of elite politicians that their crafty enterprise is improverishing the masses but making them profit so much.

Every 3rd year of office before elections,politicians and the government begin sowing oppression through the following
1)UNPAID SALARIES
2) ABANDONED PROJECTS THAT HAVE BENEFFITED THEM THROUGH SIPHONING OF NATIONAK AND STATE TREASURY
3) SUBSIDY AND REMOVAL OF SUBSIDY which leads to the seasonal queues at filling stations,strike by petroleum marketers and petrol tankers transporting petroleum products thus creating hardship.
4)stupid policy changes that have no meaningful impact but only benefit politicians and the evil in government
The redesign of the naira note 1000,500,200 was a ploy only meant to take back stashed funds from political enemies,criminals and politicians that want to bribe their way into the same Government which they themselves started for .
5)refusal to address demands made by ASUU in the educational sector thereby wasting time of potential graduates for the future .
6)The same sweet talked stereotypical speech made by business men seeking political offoces
7) Abandoned road maintenance culture thereby leading to loss of man powers on the part of the masses
CREATION OF INSECURITY by those who are opposifion and those who benefitted from the system that supports their oppression of the masses and are now going out of power leaving a trail of oppression or havesting fruits of their oppression.
Increase in price of GOODS AND SERVICES !!!

These are the cyclical foothold of things that is always apparent due to political and economic instability seen as a branch of a failing government..
We only see dividends of democracy to the barest minimum while the subtraction of ease and comfort,addition of distress and discomfort,multiplication of hardship are constant variables in a changing government structure!!!
These are the reasons why the land keeps suffering from failure of watering .
It should be noted that since Nigerians are now used to it,they hardly can effect any change because the same system is used to bring corrupt and oppressive politicians still into power!!!
