Please How do food manufacturers pick those dates on their product packaging I mean what determines products expiration date |

By studying the instructions/manual that comes with the preservatives used in preserving the food. That is what determines the expiration date. It tells you when the Preservative will loose it potency and no longer have the power to do the job. For foods without preservatives, they use normal shelf life of food from experience to determine and indicate the expiration date.
