The don called on the Federal Government to exercise restrain in its public statements on international issues.

He said the bombing of the UN House might not be unconnected with a statement issued by the Federal Government on its support for the Transitional National Government in Libya.

“Nigerian government must exercise restrain in its public statements on international issues because we are not benefiting anything from such statements.

“NATO operations in Libya is on account of the UN and government would have also realised that Nigerian Muslims in the North are sympathetic to Gadaffi as an individual,” he added.

Jonathan knows nothing about diplomacy so I won't be surprised if the attack has external inflluence.

The president reserve the right to make our political stand public without ambiguity, but my candid take on this proclamation without defining the areas of intrest is "actions without deep thought". How can we just be echoing what the west utter? will it be wrong if Nigeria has taking a leading role in the Libyan crisis?

Italy, france and UK are busy sharing oil blocs in libya while Nigeria is getting "oil bomb"? undecided . I really admire South Africa.
