Dude, Kuda or any of these shylork loans companies cannot block your bvn.
They don't have authority to do that.
The CBN have been trying to clamp down on some of these loan sharks because of the unethical ways they operate.

Operate like mainstream banks?
Licenses differ.
And the difference comes with limitations.

Mtn and some network providers were recently issued licenses to perform certain banking operations.
But such license have limitations as they are not authorized to perform certain banking operations that are exclusively for core banks.

That is normal jargon they are using to scare You. The BVN portal is managed by NIBSS and they need a very rigorous process to get your BVN Blacklisted but not on the ground that you are a bad debtor. The only thing they can do is to make a report about you and send on the CRC portal which might affect you in the future if you want to borrow.

I actually invested it a a scheme that crashed. It's an overdraft and not a loan, I don't borrow, perhaps if I knew the investment was a scam I wouldn't have taken the offered overdraft.
