27Pushing30:You lack wisdom. We need to try new things. Nigeria need a new system of government designed based on Nigeria's unique challenges to solve our national issues not what is being practiced in other countries. Making traditional rulers part of local governments will go a long way in reviving our local governments and making traditional rulers responsible instead of collecting salary from government monthly without doing any work to aid local development. Let's try new things and if they don't work we adjust till we find our most suitable solutions designed by us for us. We mustn't copy from oyimbo styles. Nigerian universities need constant light to start research and developments that will bring development in Nigeria. Government can subsidize it for them. Line 33 currently is meant for such purposes but being abused currently. Hourly pay is the best to inspire Nigerians to give in their best. Criminizing none payment of salaries by governments and private employers is a plus. Let employers pay for the hours their staff work, so if you know your work requires just 5 hours work a day, then you hire people for 5 hours and shutdown the remaining hours so you pay them adequately while they find somewhere else to work. People will find their way out for the transportation, they can learn to use bicycle for fast movement and it will inspire Nigerian government into thinking of building metro and subway transport systems with time. |

OsunOriginal, Obi's manifesto said he would cut costs of governance and establish state policing. Does that sound like bad ideas to you? If so, then you are among the dumbest humans alive? |

27Pushing30: Is it that you are pessimistic or stupid? Do you know how much those hospitals generate per day? Do you know how much the federal government allocate to those federal institutions? With the orosanye report, do you know how much the FG will be able to save? Stop your pessimism or stupidity, whichever it is. 2 Likes |

favor914:He will use Executive order to implement the critical ones and then use social media, media houses and the Nigerian people to pressure the senate to sign the other people centric laws into law just like it was done during the electoral law of this year. It was Nigerians and Civil Society Groups plus media houses that forced Senate and even Buhari to sign it into law, ordinarily Buhari and his criminal gang of senators wouldn't have signed the new electoral law. Obi is Nigerians' best chance to reset Nigeria for the better good of all but if Nigerians like they can sacrifice it on the altar of tribal religious sentiments, they will suffer the outcome later 1 Like |

plat0: You are talking Chinese seriously here! This is the lack of awareness destroying "Nigerian youths" they're reasonable but not realistic, viable but not feasible. The world has no reward for viability but feasibility (actionable gists) They continue in this vicious circle till wisdom comes to them. Who baptized Peter Obi from being a typical Nigerian politician? Who purged him? Peter is like any other politicians in Nigeria. Certificate wise he not even as a 2.2 grade graduate qualified to apply for an entry-level Job in Nigeria banks. He lack verifiable experience and track records to appears on ballots going by his paid entertainers scripts about him! |

27Pushing30:The same way Tinubu thinks a credit rating system will work in Nigeria. That has been the hallmark of Tinubu's campaign, innit? How does Tinubu plan on implementing a credit system when we barely Credit Bureau Rating organizations? -What will be the new minimum wage rate/hour?The fact that the minimum wage is N30k is because there are elements who benefit from the rot. What the hourly rate would be determined by a couple of factors but the endgame is that Nigerians won't be subjected to slave labour any longer. -With our poor transport sector how will one be moving from job to job in time? When most times 1 hour isn’t enough to get anywhere. How do people move to work and home on a daily basis? Please, say something else. -For the Universities he wants to give 24hour light , how will they afford it? Who is paying ?? What mode of power?Are/Were you educated in Nigeria at all? Federal Universities all over in Nigeria boasts of better power supply than every residential areas in Nigeria. Bulk of why we protested often in our time as students was because of outages or disruptions. How do they generate these powers in the first place? So, what are you yapping about? For the traditional rulers what functions will they even be doing? In a Federal presidential system of government? This is a REPUBLIC not a MONARCHY. Jamaica, Australia, New Zealand etc are constitutional monarchies not republics in a Republic a Monarch has NO ROLE.I think there's a problem with your understanding of local governments and the history of Nigerian politics. Even the countries you referenced, all have local governments. We had monarchial systems in place long before Nigeria became a republic in 1963. That said, our monarchial systems used to play local government and sectional heads. Pray tell, why does your Tinubu's Lagos have an Oba when there is a governor? Or why does Oniru have an Oba when there is an Eti Osa LGA? [s]And what roles will the traditional rulers be given? What authority? From Alaafin to Olubadan to the baales? Lol[/s] Please please y’all don’t question anything at all.Coming from the supporters of Ba Ba Blu, classic! |

Buhari's power roadmap is out there on paper in black and white and it's being carried out as we speak, so where is Obi's power roadmap to generate, transmit, power management, billing and so on? Shey power go drop on your lap from the sky. Some of you are just tooo intellectually lazy for real. |

effort1: Please give me a figure on how much hospitals generate per day Also tell me what mode of power they will be on … for example in most schools generators are turned on from 7pm to 3am and it’s the students who pay for it via tuition fees. So abeg give me breakdown…. And note that it’s a nationwide scheme |
