MaxInDHouse: Those passages you are quoting where written by the Jews for their religion called Judaism... There was already a religion on ground. JW are a JJc group founded by some free masons in the 19th century... Judaism existed some 2500+ years prior... And Judaism believes in reincarnation... This is an article on the subject in chabad.com https://www.chabad.org/kabbalah/article_cdo/aid/380599/jewish/Judaism-and-Reincarnation.htm |

MrPresident1: Jesus is the founder of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ORGANIZATION that's why he is fittingly called the "FAITHFUL WITNESS" {Revelations 1:5} according to God's word Jesus is the first and foremost WORSHIPER of our God {John 20:17} he made us understand that the world will hate us for being different {Matthew 5:11-12} and most importantly since Jesus' teachings powerfully catches hearts of sincere and honest hearted individuals {Hebrews 4:12} critics referred to him as a Satanist {John 10:20} we his followers will also be called a CULT! Matthew 10:25 |

1 Timothy 5:23-25 KJV Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. [24] Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after. [25] Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid. Here's Paul telling Timothy the some men's sins are open beforehand, that is, they have their reward immediately; some men receive theirs hereafter Also, some people's good works are manifested and recompensed here, some people's bad deeds are recompensed here too Lamentations 3:39-40 KJV Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? [40] Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. So whether here or in the hereafter, in your reincarnation, you will pay for your sins, and also receive reward for your good deeds |

Psalm 40:5 KJV Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. |

Psalm 1:1-2 KJV Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |

Psalm 1:3-4 KJV And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. [4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |

Is there life after death? Undoubtedly. And the interesting thing is that people have known this for the vast majority of history. It’s been recognized in Hinduism and Buddhism forever, and other religions. More interesting is that it’s only been for roughly 1500 years that it’s not been common knowledge, mainly in the materialistic Western world. I think the most fascinating thing about this is how it came about. If you want some significant and little-known history, continue. The early Catholic Church had no problem with reincarnation. It was the widely accepted view of how life operated. You are a spiritual being separable from your body, stuck in saṃsāra, the Pali/Sanskrit word that means "world,” the concept of rebirth and "cyclicality of all life, matter, existence," a fundamental belief of most Indian religions. Popularly, it is the cycle of death and rebirth that you don't have control over. This is not better known because it’s part of the early Catholic Church’s dirty laundry, and who likes to hang that out? But it’s readily discoverable online. The Church was doing some needed housekeeping, part of which was getting rid of the old ‘pagan’ ideas hanging around, like reincarnation. They threw the essential baby out with the dingy bathwater. The Church had a neutral position on reincarnation for about three hundred and twenty-five years. The heave-ho of that started in 325 AD at the Christian Council of Nicaea. Roman Emperor Constantine put that Council together. Constantine saw the writing on the wall and decided it was politically advantageous to marry the government with the Church. The Roman Catholic Church has been married ever since—keeping it in its power position for centuries. The Alexandria branch of the Church didn’t want to get rid of reincarnation. Example: Arius of Alexandria stepped on too many toes by teaching these ideas about the nature of Christ, so was excommunicated. It was problematic if people associated Christ with reincarnation. Another troublemaker years later was Origen of Alexandria. The Church held the First Council of Constantinople in 543. This time it was Roman Emperor Justinian who directed the proceedings. Origen was on the wrong side of the reincarnation debate that was still raging. Justinian presented a letter to the religious bigshots with a list of holy crimes or ‘anathemas’ against Origen, his ideas, and his like-minded brothers. Anathema was their word for the greatest heresy. They approved Justinian’s anathemas, and ten years later, in 553, they ratified them at the Second Council of Constantinople. You can find that document online under Anathemas Against Origen. The first anathema on the list states: “IF anyone asserts the fabulous pre-existence of souls, and shall assert the monstrous restoration which follows from it: let him be anathema.” They were bloody-minded on reincarnation, calling those who believed it “demons and evil spirits.” It officially made the idea of reincarnation anathema, which, in those days, meant eternal damnation. The saga gets better. Theodora of Constantinople was probably the most powerful woman in Byzantine history. Smart and resourceful enough to become Justinian’s most trusted adviser. A stunning redhead, she was a devilishly clever and charismatic creature—her life would be a hit at the box office. She was the daughter of a bear trainer, and she was an actress at a time when entertainers were in the lowest class in society. After a few years of sleeping her way up the social ladder, she ended up marrying Justinian and created all sorts of conspiracies in the Imperial Court, killed off her Court enemies, screwed the ones she couldn’t kill, and there you go, excellent statecraft. |

She hated all references to karma and reincarnation and helped the plot to get rid of them. The easiest way to do it was for her to get a puppet pope, and she managed to move one of her Bishops into that position, a guy named Virgilius. The gossip was that he accepted 700 pounds of gold after agreeing to her requests. She ensured that Virgilius and the bishops approved the anathema of reincarnation. Why? Historians record two accounts of her; the benevolent empress and the she-devil. The bad accounts I know to be true say she wanted to get defied like the earlier Roman emperors. But you couldn’t do that if you’d lived before and could be reborn as an average person. She knew that as long as reincarnation was fixed in Christian consciousness, people wouldn’t accept her as a goddess, so the idea of reincarnation had to be eradicated. I don’t know how she figured she’d pull it off when they were excommunicating everybody left and right for idolatry. To claim that Theodora was the only reason for this is inaccurate, but how much rests at her door? There is a perspective to appreciate here, the dramatic difference in mindset that the Western world would have now if this hadn’t happened. Back then, people didn’t consider dying as serious as we do today. It’s normally not a lot of fun, but if you’re going on to live another life, much of the soul-wrenching drama isn’t there. However, what happens when you convince half the world that they’re a body and live only once? How cruel is it to billions of beings over thousands of years? What are the ramifications of that personally and to civilization? What would the world be today if everybody realized they weren’t their bodies but that bodies were just temporary doll-body meat sacks, and what they did in one life would affect their future lives and culture? Theodora rightly deserves the distinction as one of the most narcissistic, egocentric, and destructive individuals in human history |
