God made sure that only Jesus' date of birth was not recorded because according to God's word birthday celebration or remembrance is pagan custom that's why no worshiper of God celebrated birthday, Jeremiah even cursed it {20:14} and since Jesus didn't come to negate what the prophets taught regarding righteousness {Matthew 5:17} he never marked his birthday but he commanded his disciples to mark the date of his death annually {Luke 22:19} this is in harmony with what was recorded in the Bible book of Ecclesiastes 7:1

Does it really matter what day he was born or when? I mean Jesus Christ said those who love Him are those who obey His teachings and commandments, in HIs name, and given that Jesus Christ did not instruct His followers to acknowledge nor celebrate His birthday on His behalf, what good will such information serve anyone?
By the way, Christmas is nothing but a pagan holiday like Halloween, easter, independence day, and the lot out there; so celebrate Christmas as you would other Pagan holidays out there. You commit sin against God when you celebrate Christmas as though you do so in honor of God.

It is only a sacred religious holiday to those of the Churchian religion, and not to those who are indeed followers of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a pagan holiday with pagan roots, much like your Independence day, Halloween, Easter, Independence Day, and Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday. So celebrate it for what it truly is, a pagan holiday, and enjoy yourself abeg!
