5 Causes Of Belly Fat

Belly fat also known as abdominal obesity, is a common problem that can have negative impacts on health. There are several factors that can contribute to excess belly fat including;

1. Unhealthy Diet
Consuming too many calories, especially from sugary and high-fat foods, can lead to weight gain and increased belly fat.

2. Alcohol
Alcohol can contribute to weight gain, including belly fat. Research shows that Alcoholic beverages provide “empty calories,” or calories with minimal nutritional value. Therefore, drinking more can result in ingesting more calories and gaining weight especially around the belly area. You can consider reducing your alcohol intake and this will make a significant change.

3. Stress
