More about the missiles used by Israel's fighter jets in the attack to ELIMINATE Nasrallah. ISRAEL used 40-80 bunker-busting BLU-109 JDAM bombs. The F-15 aircraft were fully loaded with bombs 7 per aircraft and had no external fuel tanks. The BLU-109 bombs can penetrate about 1.8 meters of concrete. It is not known at what depth the Hezbollah headquarters was located, but it is clear that the IDF dropped several bombs on the same locations in succession to penetrate them. |
