It's better for us to iron out things for the future of Nigeria and Nigerians especially the unborn. Obi imports and the business survives because the system does not favour local production. There is no justifiable reason why our economy should be this bad. Politicians are empowering those who assisted them to power to the detriment of the masses. Obi as an undergraduate in UNN was engaging in international business. He was into business as a student. He is independent minded, accountable and is not willing to mortgage his integrity for any reason. He has told us that he does not need to pay or lobby the people to become the President. If we truly love this country, I think we should place sentiment, selfishness and ethnicity aside and support him for a better Nigeria.

Obi is not to be blamed. The Government is to be blamed. Obi even after leaving Government house as a Governor has never collected one Naira as pension. His London house was acquired before he became a Governor. He has been a successful businessman. And you are blaming him leaving those assigned with the responsibility of managing the economy. He has spoken out clearly that if anyone can prove that the state finances was mismanaged under his watch, he will drop his ambition. Who again can say that amongst the contestants? When Baba Obasanjo endorsed Yaradua 2006, no comment, Jonathan, 2011, all is well, and when he endorsed your pay master in 2015, you all hailed him, but now when he supported Obi, he must then be crucified, he is no more a statesman.
