Chinese all over the world, are in celebration mode; as the year opens on January 22nd, 2023.

Though modern China uses the global Gregorian calendar, traditional Chinese year are still calculated based on lunarsolar calendar system and are often celebrated with family and friends.

Each cyclical year is also depicted by an animal. So, this new year is known hereby known as: "The year of the rabbit."
