The three wise men were among the first external persons who saw baby Jesus. They saw Hs star and went to see Him. Today, wise men are still going to see Jesus.

We know that the magi were wise men from "the East," most likely Persia, or modern-day Iran. This means the wise men traveled 800 to 900 miles to see the Christ child. Most likely, the magi knew of the writings of the prophet Daniel, who in time past had been the chief of the court seers in Persia. Daniel 9:24-27 includes a prophecy which gives a timeline for the birth of the Messiah. Also, the magi may have been aware of the prophecy of Balaam (who was from the town of Pethor on the Euphrates River near Persia) in Numbers 24:17. Balaam’s prophecy specifically mentions a “star coming out of Jacob.”

The wise men were guided to look for the King of the Jews by a miraculous stellar event, the “Star of Bethlehem,” which they called “His star” (Matthew 2:2). They came to Jerusalem and asked concerning the birth of Christ, and they were directed to Bethlehem (Matthew 2:4–cool. They followed God’s guidance joyfully (Matthew 2:10). When they arrived in Bethlehem, they gave costly gifts to Jesus and worshiped Him. God warned them in a dream against returning to Herod, so, in defiance of the king, they left Judea by another route (Matthew 2:12).

So, the magi were men who 1) read and believed God’s Word, 2) sought Jesus, 3) recognized the worth of Christ, 4) humbled themselves to worship Jesus, and 5) obeyed God rather than man. They were truly wise men!

Apart from their names, the three Magi developed distinct characteristics in Christian tradition, so that between them they represented the three ages of (adult) man, three geographical and cultural areas, and sometimes other things.

This your permutations and combinations is wild!

The three wise men were never Christians!

They never believed Jesus died for them!

1.Which God's word did they read and believe?
2. How did they worship Jesus?
3. How did they obey God?

I like and respect your line of thought and thinking.
I agree that the 3 wise men may not be Christians. Before Jesus and during the time of Jesus on earth, no one was a Christian.
People just got connected to God and worshipped Him the way He instructed if they met Him at a personal level or as they were instructed from the books by the religious leaders at the time. At all times in the history of man, everyone knows someone greater than the greatest who created the world and deserves their worship. How they did it is another thing. So, you are correct.

The 3 wise men never believed Jesus died for them? Yes. The 3 wise men only visited Jesus Christ at His birth, and we were not told about their status beliefs at His death or resurrection.

They obeyed God by following the star they saw and going to Jesus.
We do not have to read God's word to know God's mind for us. We have our instincts which God can use to guide us.

We do not have to read God's word to know God's mind for us. We have our conscience, which God can use to guide us.
I hope all this clarifies.
