I recently purchased a Home in Ajah, Lagos. 5 bedroom and 5 Bath. 9with BQ and a Gate House) This house is a few years old (built during Covid 2020) and since I just purchased it, I need to do some remodeling and designs in it. I consulted a guy that works for a design company for a quote. He went to the house and did all measurements. We agreed on a design and I am surprised to see a quote of #44M. Please see attached images for the itemized items and let me know your thoughts. I would really appreciate everyone's input. This quote is scary and I never expected such a high quote. Any suggestion as to how and where to get these things at a reasonable price without undermining quality. Thank you.

Good evening, I'm an interior designer, from what you've written, it seems like your interior guy gave you a cost based on design provided.

But even though it shouldn't cost that much, for an average 5bed 15 to 8m Naira should do justice. Did a project awhile back around orchids road and we spent close to 16 to 20m finishing and furnishing.
