Who Is To Blame If Power Goes Back To The North? by FreedomfromtheT: 11:45am On Feb 01, 2023
The Southwest and Southeast keep on fighting while powerful elet in the North strategizes to retain power after president Buhari's eight years.
Senator Bola Tinubu and some of his Yoruba kinsmen have been doing everything possible to please the Muslim North in order to curry their support.
In 2015, they worked with the North to take power away from the Southsouth.
They rightly demand that power should shift to the South in 2023 but blatantly refuse that their long deprived fellow southern Igbos should have it.
Even when the north insults them, it is observed especially on Nairaland that they would rather vent their anger on the Igbos.
From indications it is apparent the North or certain powerful elements in the North is not ready to reciprocate Tinubu's 'favour'. They prefer to use their numbers to ensure that one of their own succeeds president Buhari.
I think that for the South to get power this time around, there must be unity between the Southeast, Southwest, Southsouth and the Middlebelt. This is how former president Goodluck Jonathan got elected in 2011 despite Muhammad Buhari winning the core north.
But the one million dollar question is - can the South be united and support a southern candidate this time around or keep on hoping that the North will work against their own?
Who is to blame if power is retained by the North in this month's presidential election?

Tinubu and the Yoruba tribe ..

Funny is that they will be the first to scream .. how can a northerner hand over to a northerner..
then the very stupid igbos .. will now carry am for head like gala..
by the time the start to burn and protest.. same Yoruba wil still go in bed with same northerner

That’s Sophistication and diplomatic politics.. then the come back to tell you .. that Igbos are emotional and don’t know how to play politics

Make igbos wake up this time

Power is NOT going to be North,@least not in this 2023 Election.

Power is going to Mr. PETER OBI. cool

He has South-south and South-east, North Central, FCT,and Lagos backing him. cool

Atiku and Tinubu are solely depending on their Regions Which PETER OBI will still get 40% votes from. smiley

First of all, count Middle Belt out of your permutations. We are neither with you guys, nor the core north.

We just de our own lane.

About who to blame....

Nobody is to blame cos Atiku is a million miles ahead of the other candidates for this season's election.

APC wanted PDP to give the ticket to a lightweight candidate so that they can continue their nonsense.

Sai Atiku

If power is retained in the North in 2023 because Atiku to you is the 'best alternative', what stops the North from producing the 'best alternatives' with their population perpetually?

Your Obeer will not win any state but the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi is likely to win at least three of the Northcentral states, score 25% in at least one and at least 15% in others. Your hate, insults and innuendos cannot stop him.
Be getting ready to call Peter Obi that you so much hate your president.

Which presidential candidate is called PDP? It is an insult to suggest that a particular ethnic group will vote for a political party even if their candidate is a known fraudster, thief or drug baron.
