I drive a lexus IS 06model,after 2years the follow come compressor stopped rolling. So I changed and got a manual compressor,changed radiator and condenser however after Al,the car consumes a lot of petrol.if I buy 15 10 litres and I drive for almost 2 2hrs with stop and go. My fuel would enter reserve. Sometimes I get about 12mpg,sometimes I get 15mpg,sometimes I get 10mpg. The fans were connected directly,/thermostat intact. When I used scanner,it talks about acceleration malfunction,low coolant level rich fuel mixture and car rpm drops to 800 900 rpm at idle or on drive with legs on brake. Pls what's the solution. Without ac ,the car fires well but responds to acceleration after some few seconds,my gear makes a gbim sound at 2900rpm,it doesn't reach 3000rpm. Pls what's the solution. I'm fed up. My location is ibadan and I need a competent AC man and mechanic who knows his onions. I'm tired of trial and error from kazeems. Full tak doesn't last me 4 days ac or not..pls help

For the fuel issues, change your spark plugs, oxygen sensors and service your injector mouth.

If I may ask, which side of ibadan are you?

You're should stop installing manual compressors in a car that comes with automatic compressors. Your cars engine will suffer for it, that manual compressor is what's causing the excessive fuel consumption.

I’m having the same issues and I currently stay in Ibadan, I drive a 09 Camry xle and it consumes so much fuel. Also, my car has been having ac issues and I’ve tried with 2 people and it’s not working right still.
My fuel goes down very fast and I need help because I’m thinking of starting a driving business like Uber as soon as possible.
