SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH REITERATES COMMITMENT TOWARDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AS HE LEADS HIS CAMPAIGN TEAM TO OTOLO NNEWI WARD 2

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Friday, reassured his constituents that his office will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to execute programmes that will foster community development. Senator Ubah made the remarks while addressing the people of Otolo Ward 2 at Obi Umuenem Palace, Otolo Nnewi. The Senator who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka also appreciated ndị Otolo for their continuous support and reassured them that he will not relent in using instrumentality of his office to promote their wellbeing.

Speaking on his Senatorial activities in the past four years, Senator Ubah said that for the first time in the Senatorial history of Anambra South, every ward benefitted from the Constituency Projects. He further disclosed that through legitimate partnerships, he was able to execute essential projects such as the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project”. Speaking further on the project, Senator Ubah said that it features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of the Senatorial District. The Senator also thanked the Obi of Umuenem Chief Afam Obiekosi for his giant efforts in maintaining peace in the community and reassured him that his office will not relent in giving adequate support to traditional institutions. The Anambra South Senator further reassured his constituents that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, more projects facilitated by his office will hopefully be executed soon.

In his remarks, the former President-General of Nzukora Nnewi Chief Agu Onyeka (Ikeoha Nnewi) appreciated Senator Ubah for his uncommon contributions to the betterment of the society. Chief Onyeka further commended the Senator for always carrying his people along in his legislative activities and reassured him that ndị Otolo Ward 2 will always give him their supports.

Responding, the Obi of Umuenem Chief Afam Obiekosi appreciated Senator Ubah for facilitating the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which will contribute immensely to the security of lives and properties. Chief Obiekosi further appreciated the Senator for his selflessness and supports for traditional institutions, and blessed his ambition.

Also present at the event were YPP leaders led by the party’s Anambra State Chairman Prince Moses Obi, the party’s Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election Hon Peter Uzokwe, and the Candidate of the party for the 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji.
