It was a special day as the women and youths of Igbedor community trooped out en masse with joyous and melodious song of jubilation to usher in Dr. Festus to the arena where they have waited patiently for his arrival.

*Dr. Festus Chukwuemeka Omaremi (Onowu White)* who is the Labour Party Candidate for Anambra West State Constituency arrived *_Palace of Event Igbedor_* with his entourage for a special meeting of Labour Party Olumbanasa Ward 2 , Igbedor , Anambra West LGA.

The meeting is to brainstorm on the best way Labour Party structures will be formidable and come out victorious in Anambra West come 2023 General Elections.

The Assistant Secretary of Labour Party in Anambra, *Mr. Innocent Udeogeayala* while speaking acknowledged that *Dr. Festus* is the most qualified person among those contesting for Anambra West State House of Assembly. He encouraged others to support him because he will definitely do well for the Constituency.

Speaking to *Olumbanasa Ward 2, Dr . Festus* expressed gratitude and commended the Igbedor, Olumbanasa Ward 2 for the massive turn up. He encouraged them to support all Labour Party candidates for the upcoming election starting from the Presidential Candidate, *Mr. Peter Obi* to Anambra North Senatorial Candidate, *Hon. Tony Nwoye* including *Chief Peter Aniekwe (Macpee)* for Anambra East and West Federal Constituency.

He emphasized that having all Labour Party candidates elected will make work easier for him at the State House of Assembly because they come from the same line of political party. He said that there will be a cordial relationship in their dealings which will make Anambra West experience a good legislative outcome.

*Dr. Festus* continued further with orientation and *Voter's Education* on how to identify and vote for Labour Party with the description of the *logo.*

He said that the formidable Team of Labour Party with *Peter Obi* as the President will make wonders for the Country. He described *Peter Obi* as a gentleman who has the problem of Anambra West at heart. He said that by his actions during his time as the Governor of Anambra State and the way he visited and cared for the zone during the flood season showed how compassionate he is. On *Tony Nwoye,* he said that he has been constructing roads in Anambra North and helping people in his own capacity. He equally eulogized *Macpee* who has been doing well as an individual. He assured the people that Anambra East and West will experience a pathway for massive development.

*Dr. Festus* while concluding reiterated his plans of renovating and equipping hospitals in the Constituency to enable pregnant mothers deliver safely. He assured them of *Good Road network, Electricity , Job Creation* and rest of other agendas in his manifesto.

The Anambra West Cordinator *Oga Ndi Oga Solidarity Movement, Alazor Godwin Iweka* who hails from mmiata Anam urged the people of *Olumbanasa Ward 2* to support their brother *Dr. Festus* for equity and fairness. He said that Igala zone should stand up to gain their place in the political race. Mr. Iweka acknowledged that Anam people have tested the corridors of power in the zone. He said that Anam people have equally gone to represent Anambra West in State House of Assembly enough which is why he supporting *Onowu White* to give chance for Igala zone.
*_"Apart from the fact that Igala zone need to represent our people, Dr. Festus is excellently qualified and competent to make a good legislator in the next State House of Assembly."_* he said.
He concluded with a promise that all the apostles of *Oga Ndi Oga Solidarity Movement* shall support *Dr. Festus.*

The Local Government Chairman of Labour Party in Anambra West, *Mr. Akwolu Sylvanus* while addressing them said that the ball is now in their court to determine the success of the coming election. He statistically agreed that if the entire Igala zone , *Olumbanasa Ward 2* will vote for *Dr. Festus* he will surely win the election.

In their separate speeches, the people of *Olumbanasa Ward 2* were delighted with *Dr. Festus* for making the bold step in standing on behalf of Igala zone. They through various individuals assured *Dr. Festus* that 2023 election is for Labour Party and the State House of Assembly seat is already assured for him.
