Also, being the president of “200 million” people is not a do-or-die affair!

It does not require crying on National tv that it is your turn

It doesn’t require bribing delegates and contestants to step down

It doesn’t require stockpiling huge amount of money to buy votes

It doesn’t require threatening residents of a state that they must vote for you or leave

It certainly does not require insulting the current president and wailing over policies you perceive to worsen your chances

If your motives to be president are not self-serving you will not be this desperate and throwing huge sums of money at this ambition

In summary sir, you are correct when you say it isn’t as easy as plucking mangoes but you shouldn’t be able to buy your way into power cos you will only go there to steal it all back…

FYI America would rather prefer that the worst most tainted candidate be our president as part of their foreign affairs policy. So I am not surprised they are trying all possible means to clear him. They have gone as far as removing all evidences from the internet including pictorial evidence.

For a Yoruba man to become a President is like a Jewish man becoming a President of the entire Middle East. It is even tougher than that.

Before the commencement of Tinubu's journey, Pa Tanko Yakassai is the first person Tinubu met to reveal his intention to run. Pa Tanko Yakassai promised him 50% of Northern votes but asked Tinubu to return to South West to seek for their blessing and support. Later, Tinubu met Buhari and informed him about his decision.

That was the beginning of Tinubu's predicament.

Atiku is not Tinubu's problem in the North. Pa Tanko Yakassai and Atiku know Yoruba very well. It is only in Yoruba land you have the type of Obasanjo, Ayo Adebanjo, Doyin Okupe, Osinbajo, Afe Babalola and several Yoruba Journalists that are Judas Iscariot. It is easier for others to support you when your people are solidly behind you. Awolowo was sent to prison in Calabar by the Yorubas. Obasanjo said Abiola is not the Messiah.

I attended University in IBO land several years ago and I know if Tinubu were to be an IBO, 92% of IBOs will support him and in 2019 it will never be possible for PDP and APC to share South West 50% each.

The forces of the Yorubas are anti-progress destroying the great STAR among the Yoruba people. Tinubu's journey would have been 50% easier if Osinbajo did not foolishly present himself as a bait to ridicule Tinubu ambition within APC. He was never the consensus candidate. If Obasanjo, Ayo Adebanjo and Doyin Okupe have not supported OBI at the beginning, OBI would have been nobody today in Nigeria political history.

The journey of a Yoruba man to the Presidency is 1000% tougher than any one from other tribes because 90% of the opposition is instigated from the Yoruba land other people merely built on the internal opposition to frustrate the ambition of the Yoruba man.

I spent 6 years in the University in IBO land several years ago, till date I visit IBO land often, the kind of open insult and attacks the IBOs give Tinubu in Lagos you cannot try it in the East against their candidate. This is possible because of various Judas Iscariot among the people themselves.

Read, you'll not read! Haba! Those American disclaimers were issued in Year 2003 when Tinubu was Governor of Lagos! That's 23 years ago, not today! The US couldn't have known that Tinubu would contest for president, however powerful they are. Tinubu too, wouldn't have known that he would one day run for president.
