SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH LEADS HIS CAMPAIGN TEAM TO ORUMBA NORTH ZONE 3, MEETS WITH THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAKEHOLDERS

...and reiterates his commitment towards community development.

_After meeting with the people of Orumba North Zone 3 at Oko Civic Center, Senator Ubah led his entourage to the residence of Dr Justin Nwankwo in Oko to meet with stakeholders of Orumba North Local Government Area. The Senator was also hosted by Omeive-Ukwu na Ufuma at his palace_

Anambra South Senator and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reassured his constituents that he will always work towards attracting programmes and projects that will foster community development. Senator Ubah made the remarks when he met with leaders and members of Orumba North Political Zone 3 at Oko Civic Center, Oko. Speaking at the event, the Senator appreciated the people of Orumba North for their unalloyed supports and reassured them that he will continually partner with relevant authorities to develop their communities.

Senator Ubah who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, YPP Candidate for 2023 Orumba North and Orumba South Federal Constituency Election Princess Chinwe Nnabuife and the party’s Candidate for 2023 Orumba North State Constituency Election Hon Ben Umeh also informed the gathering which was made up of people from Nanka Ward 1, Nanka Ward 2, Awgbu Ward 1, Awgbu Ward 2, Oko Ward 1 and Oko Ward 2, that in the past four years, his office took several actions that were aimed at developing and empowering young talents from various communities of Orumba North Local Government Area. He further disclosed that through partnerships with National Productivity Centre, National Directorate of Employment, Nigerian Ports Authority and Federal Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs, he trained and empowered hundreds of youths from various local government areas of Anambra South Senatorial District including Orumba North on various fields like sewing, soap making, shoe making, perfume making and make-over. The Senator also revealed that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, more youths from Orumba North will be empowered with five hundred thousand naira each courtesy of his office.

The Anambra South Senator further informed ndị Orumba North Zone 3 that he has also taken action to support the state government and security agencies in the fight against insecurity. According to him, the execution of “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which was facilitated by him is already in progress and the project which is aimed at supporting security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of the Senatorial District features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets. The Senator further revealed that the project when completed, is also expected to boost businesses at the grassroots.

Commenting on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah urged the people of Orumba North Zone 3 Political Zone to consolidate their supports and love for him by voting massively for YPP as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes within the local government and Anambra South in general.

After meeting with the people of Orumba North Zone 3 at Oko Civic Center, Senator Ubah led his entourage to the residence of Dr Justin Nwankwo in Oko to meet with stakeholders of Orumba North Local Government Area. During the meeting, the Senator who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated the stakeholders for defying all odds to maintain their supports for him. He also appreciated them for their crucial roles in maintaining peace in their various communities and urged them to remain focused and endeavour to always preach the YPP gospel to members of their various communities. The Senator also reassured the stakeholders that his office will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to foster community development in the Senatorial District and urged them to always extend their supports to other Candidates contesting on the platform of YPP.

Responding on behalf of the stakeholders, Dr Justin Nwankwo appreciated Senator Ubah for his selflessness and accountability. He also appreciated him for always carrying his constituents along in his legislative activities and reassured him that ndị Orumba North will always give him their supports.
