2023 Elections: Exercise Your Civic Responsibility - ParticipateNow Charges Nigerians

A social activist group under the aegis of 'Participate Now' has enjoined Nigerians to make sure they exercise their civic rights in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

This disclosure was made in statement on Thursday and signed by Ìtàn Ayòbámi the founder of ParticipateNow,

It reads: "as we are keen on restoring consciousness while procuring a peaceful platform for collective representation for every individual, we deem it necessary to remind Nigerian citizens that making it right again is a deliberate effort of every electorate who are ready to 'Participate Now' in the general elections which is a couple of days away.

"We urge the public members to make their votes count by exercising their electorate rights in the rule of thumb. While doing this, we encourage you to vote your choice and conscience considering charisma and jettisoning status.

"Be as it may, we admonish every individual to be an exemplary ambassador of their conscience by avoiding violence or cease from engaging in any uprise that may annihilate what 'free and fair election,' depicts.

"Meanwhile, it is our rightful will to support all candidates who might emerge as the forerunners in the coming election even if it's not in the interest of an opinion we uphold. It is our sole conviction that it takes many to save one as Nigeria is already experiencing lots.

"In essence, we are hopeful that Nigeria will stand on her feet again and care for our children from the guise of a blessed and ready motherhood. We, therefore, incite us all to get ready to embrace her with an ounce of patriotism which is why we must Participate Now.

"As defined by Robert Swan that: "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it."

If you don't Participate Now in the forthcoming General Elections, then, who will? Your vote counts!," Ìtàn Ayòbámi concluded.
