And if the man is also Paying the bulk of the financial responsibilties, Why wont the wife share in the household responsibilities of the man like mowing lawns and washing cars?

Personally, i will never!! ever!!! mow my lawn or wash our cars, as long as my hubby is around, even if i am a full-time house wife, mbanu!!! it won't happen, those are the things i do not bother myself about. infact, this topic made me realise that i actually do have a lawn,  undecided undecided undecided, that is just my level of being not concerned about somethings.

@ armyofone, if it was my hubby, he will stand infront of the window and watch you mow, and if he sees unnecessary waving and smiles from neighbours, especially when he feels they are checking his wife's ass out, am sure he is definitely coming out to take it from you!!! grin grin grin though i do not mow no- lawn, no matter how fun it might be.

Hmmm, that is a good idea though for the lady in question. undecided undecided

Ronke

Are you saying a man can wash playes, cook and do laundry under some conditions but a woman should never wash cars and mow lawns?
Re: Settle an Argument: "Should She Have to Do 'Man Chores'?" by ronkebp(f): 7:53pm On Sep 20, 2011
^^^^ plates, laundry, cooking ( not compulsory) mowing and washing car (compulsory) for men, and that is my own personal thing, and am not syaing a woman should not mow or wash cars, of course they are free to do whatever, i will not add that to my own duties and responsibilities when i have a husband.

In the same vein, DO you now expect your husband to add washing plates, Doing laundry and cooking to his own responsibilities too?

In a equal relationship where both partners contribute financially equally to the marriage, The wife does the wifely duties and the husband does the manly duties

When one needs help the other might render a hand

A woman can ONLY be exempted from the manly duties like mowing and car washing, If the man is exempted from wifely duties like cooking, cleaning and laundry

Agreed?
