No law forbid a political office holder in Nigeria from having a dual Nationality.
Orji Uzor,Ahmed Lawan and many office holders in Nigeria own foreign passports.

Having a passport makes you a citizen of another Country. Meaning you swear allegiance to that country as well as Nigeria.

Dual citizenship is allowed and perfectly legal. However, it is not for the president of Nigeria according to the constitution which makes sense. It's not safe for the president to have sworn allegiance to another country.
