Shut up 🤡
You all should be ashamed that despite having all the plethora of federal might, about 20 state under control and their retinues of structures, they couldn't deliver by rigging with common sense, the top shot of the looser the party lost their units and wards.

The amateurish rigging is too obvious that the blind could see and feel it.

How can a presidential candidate lose lagos State, his base where he was once a governor for eight years, the same state his supporters claim he built from scratch, lose Osun State, his alleged home state, lose Kano, Kaduna, kastina, couldn't get ordinary 25% of all the votes cast in the FCT Abuja then all of sudden, he became the winner.

Even in section 299 i think. The constitution declares FCT as a state.

With due respect. Prof is a dull man.

Prof. Let me ask you. What is the essence of the election when all it takes to fail is 'not make' 25% in FCT?

It means even though you win the entire 36 states with 98%. Not getting 25% in FCT means another election of 300bn will be re-conducted.

All it takes is political actors without any road to victory or path to majority votes, making sure they block any body from getting 25% in FCT; by crook or hook.

All it takes is political parties focusing on FCT only and giving middle fingers to the other states. They can even try importing people to vote from all the remaining 36 states into FCT.

People will sowore and others who knows they cant win will just campaign only in FCT, bribe the residents and make sure the votes are split. Then we will keep repeating election till thy-kingdom-come without president.

As a Prof,e make sense? Is this logical?

Always talking rubbish. Where is the logic in the very clear and straight forward English? How does the word “and” resemble the word “include”? If common sense allows you, then you can interpret that portion in your language to get clear proof.

Drafters of the so called contentious section used the appropriate word, to the best of their knowledge, but unfortunately people like you fail to see it, because your thoughts are negatively aligned on one path.

We all await the judges to put a final end to the matter.

That part of the constitution is ambiguous. The prof. is wrong in another perspective. It is either the supreme court makes a definitive interpretation or there is need for a clear amendment. The amendment can be: '...score at least 25% in at least two-third of the states of the federation, with FCT as one of the states' or '...score at least 25% in at least two-third of the states of the federation, and at least 25% in FCT.'

Abuja is deemed a state of the federation, Section 299 of the constitution is unambiguous when it says:

Why bring up Sowore wey dey support you 😒. Honestly I feel that FCT should be treated like every other state but reading that part from the constitution you will find out the constitution says otherwise. This maybe an Honest mistake from those who wrote the constitution. Again FCT does not have the characteristics of a state in Nigeria maybe that's why they put it like that. All these news should just end let real governance begin abeg. I am Obidient tho but I feel BAT should be sworn in so that governance starts and if he loses in court, then he should part his loads and go
