Come on bro...that is not what I said.

You chose to interprete it your own way.

I clearly said he joined a certain group that brainwashed him into taking his own life.

Maybe I should post the last link he left for us on his telegram page.

I referenced his mockery of Christianity and only advised new entrants into "the abroad " not to get into the Web of losing our hold and beliefs in God.

I didn't say that was why he died..

See his last post on telegram and the link he dropped for us.

Hey group, it's been great to know you all. Delighted to impact you in my little way, but I'll be going home, I hope you continue to be good and to learn to help and support one another. I'm so happy you all took the time to read my story and see Ireland through my lens.
Wish you all a wonderful endeavour.

Hope you read in between the lines of my original post again.

Yes i read the first part where you mentioned that he joined a group that brainwashed him but that is not my issue with your post.

You drifted into the issue of religion and how he started mocking people back home for holding on to their faith..

Why do you that his death got anything to do with him mocking Christians back home?

Daddy, what's the cheapest options to get to Heathrow Terminal 2/3 from London Kings Cross.

My search shows I will need to change train in Victoria.

Hey people, if anyone is interested in getting some items from Nigeria delivered in 2 weeks time, feel free to let me know. My friend is coming and has two 23kg free luggage boxes (not bringing much because she wants to do bulk shopping). If you need anything (must be bought by her in supermarket, stores etc.. , she will not be accepting pre-packed items from your family or friends) just send the list and you will only need to make payment when your goods are delivered to you in UK ( serious and genuine people only should reply, no time wasters or fraud thanks).

Thank you. Can your friend help me get Mayonnaise in the supermarket?
I will need four (4) of the big size if that's possible & please let me know the total cost of it . The picture is attached below . Thank you very much 🙏

Unfortunately, I doubt you can do much. If it's really urgent, go there and beg, unlikely, but they may help if it's life or death.

I am also worried about this same issue. My appointment is for October but I hope job employers won't ask for the renewed passport incase any better opportunities show up.

I did not say his mockery killed him. All I advised is to not tow the path of jettisoning your beliefs because you relocated to a saner clime and yet not be able to build a strong shield against depression, lest when we are at our lowest edge, we won't find solace in a dangerous pit.

I never said his disbelief killed him.

I only pointed his path to a downward spiral.

Thank you sir

If only it was the case that religious people don’t commit suicide or suffer depression, this would be perfectly logical.

At least I have never been told to take my life by way of suicide sincerely I started attending Church.

I am not a religious person ...Christianity for me is a relationship.

Back to the matter......there is safety in godly counsel.

You are blessed bro. Thanks so much I will forward accordingly and give feedback
davide470:
On this, I helped draft the email below and so far, I have had 100% success rate from people I shared with. Let the student send this to the council ccing the partner.

Good evening,
My name is xx, a full-time international student at xx University and my partner's name is xx.
I reside at xx. I had initially requested a council tax exemption as a full-time student but was told my partner is a liable party for council tax because he is not a full-time student. We received the attached bill to this effect for the period xx 2022 - xx 2023 wherein it was split into xx equal installments.

However, Article 3 of the Council Tax (Exempt Dwellings) Order, SI 1992/558 provides that 'A dwelling is exempt from council tax if it falls within any of the following Class N: a dwelling which is either:
(a) occupied by one or more residents all of whom are relevant persons;
(b) occupied only by one or more relevant persons as term time accommodation.

A relevant person means:
(i) a student;
(ii) a student's spouse or dependant being in each case a person who is not a British citizen and who is prevented, by the terms of his leave to enter or remain in the UK, from taking paid employment or from claiming benefits or (iii) a person to whom Class C (school or college leavers) of regulation 3(1) of the Council Tax (Additional Provision for Discount Disregards) Regulation 1992 applies.

From the foregoing, please note that I belong to category a(i) I am a student and my partner belongs to category a(ii) he is the spouse of a student. We are both non-British citizens and his visa prevents him from claiming benefits. Subsequently, we qualify for the 100% council tax exemption.

Furthermore, please see below links citing cases whereby 100% exemptions were granted to student dependants by the Court:
https://www.casemine.com/judgement/uk/5a8ff72860d03e7f57ea8dcf/amp
https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/law/local-government/65852.article

We look forward to your kind response..

Councils dread court cases most times as it does not make sense to be dragged to court for £150/m tax.

The point is those religion your parents took you to will never teach you that dignity means taking your own life by doing the earth a favour. Christianity has never taught me that, African tradition of my ancestors forbid anyone taking his own life.

His involvement with this Earth People is what encouraged his decision.

Check his handle on twitter encouraging people to take their own life instead suffering, waiting and believing things will get better.

Would appreciate some insights please? What are the things to look out for while getting a car here please? Especially through gum tree and FB market.
And also can one drive home a newly purchased car before getting an insurance?

Same thing you usually check ...mileage, petrol or diesel, services, non-accidental, road tax ,MOT, Insurance and not a stolen vehicle.

I would prefer buying from good local garages near you with good 6 months warranty than FB or Gumtree to avoid stories.

You will get insurance before you drive out from the garage.

You must do your insurance and tax your car before you drive out of the garage.

Christianity means christ-like.
Not everything that is pastor or church related is christ-like.

In this your example, the pastor is not a Christian.

Simply put, a christian is not someone that goes to church, a Christian is someone that behaves like christ. So if you want to give an example, use Jesus Christ.

Yup. Or even from Garages on Autotrader.co.uk. The vehicles will typically have 12 months MOT
