I am through with my MSc in Data Science here and already on tier 2 courtesy of my wife who got a sponsored support work

The first offer is a prison officer with a starting salary of 28k.

The second offer is a Department of Education Financed training to be a physic teacher with a bursary of 28k for 10 month, I will be paid 19k while 9k will go to the Secondary school providing the training which is affiliated to a university. At the end I will be given QTS ( qualifications to teach) and a PGCE. Now at the end of the training, I am required to look for a teaching job.

Please I need a guidance on which to go, given the peculiarity of this country.

September is start date for both.

Do not mind any grammatical error.
Note I can't do both given the way the training is structured

with an MSc in data science, why don't you consider a career in Data Analysis, and look for Graduate roles in big firms like the Big 4 or Engineering firms, that will launch you into big-time jobs in the future. The two offers you have right now are not related to that. If you have a passion for teaching though I will suggest you go for the secondary school job. But I just think you deserve much more than what you currently have. Go for the teaching job but please start aiming higher for a career in Data Analysis or Data Engineering

Good I have some couple of data science/analysis interviews that was not successful so I applied to these and they were successful. Now I am thinking both short term and long term. But I have to work.

There you go! That's your answer.

Both careers have their pros and cons so personal preference will be key. If we advise you to be a prison officer and you hate "physical brawl", you'd have a terrible time there regardless of any pros we highlight.

That’s quite enough time to prepare given your progress, and you have all the materials you need. But stop playing games with the hazard perception, try to understand how points are calculated. I’ll advise you start with the training videos again.

Hmm, data engineering the junior salary for that position lasan and also database administrators (couldn’t believe that it’s still very much relevant due to companies going cloud computing way).

Infact a department in civil service added an uplift of 10,000£ to the base salary.
