The paramount ruler of Offaland, HRM Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II has condoled the people of Erin Ile community, Elerin-in-Council, immediate and extended royal family on the demise of the Elerin of Erin Ile, HRM Oba Abdulganiyu Ajibola Olusokun II (MFR).

This was contained in a statement on Saturday signed by Olayinka Kadri, principal private secretary to the monarch dated May 20, 2023.

"Oba Gbadamosi describes the passage of the first-class monarch and Chairman Oyun Local Government Traditional Council as a colossal loss to the Erin Ile people and the state at large. He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts his return and grant him a place in Aljanat Firdaus.

“My heartfelt condolence to the Erin Ile people and the royal family on the loss of the great king who loved his people and dedicated over four decades of his life to serving them. It is my prayer that Allah keeps together everything and everyone he left behind and accepts his return to a special place in Aljanat Firdaus. Inna lillahi wa inna ilehi rojiun”.

In the same vein, the Offa Descendant Union (ODU) under its National President, Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako commiserated with the Royal family and all the good people of Erin-Ile on the transition of His Royal Majesty, Oba Andul-Ganiyu Ajibola, the Olusookun the 2nd.

ODU prayed God accepts the monarch’s return.
In a statement on Saturday by its National Social Secretary & Acting National Public Relations Officer, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo (IMO), ODU describes the late Royal father as an enigma, a colossus and a gargantua.

"To our dear and precious brothers and sisters from Erin-Ile, we mourn the passage of our dear Royal Majesty, we identify with you at such a critical time as this and we pray that Almighty God sustains you all and be with all our people.

"To all the communities in Ibolo, a ku araferaku, ojo awa naa a kale; ki Olodumare se gbogbo awon Oba wa ni Ibolo ni arugbo-Oba.

"Indeed, a s'ofo Oba-wa t'o ko jalo."
