Yodi,  please dont desecrate bizbooks thread. ok?

Rehearsing the 'you are new to this business' is also not the best thing to say/do

Ontop of that, you are trying to sell a car

why am i not surprised? you took on bizbooks to demonstrate your unparalleled awareness in the business of selling cars to build your profile.

what is the last price of your fx 45? aaaaaaaaah, i dont like white.
Not a hater and I am not trying to spoil his thread, I just didn't feel his estimates were correct and was trying to help. Someone asked for a car, I don't think the question was directed to anyone in particular. You can ask Bizbooks about the fx 45 cheesy , don't want to spoil his thread
BizBooks:

This is my last response to yods1000.

I really don't know what to say to you anymore. The fourth 2008 CR-V EX-L on the link I gave you has only 39,000 miles and is selling for $18,500. Moreover, it has a grade of 4.9 out of 5, meaning that it is as clean as can be. So why can't you simply accept the fact that the selling price of a 2008 CR-V EX-L is between $18,000 - $19,000 just like I originally said?

You keep inferring that I'm new to this business. Let me remind you that I have shipped more than 30 cars to Nigeria in the Past 3 years. Majority of them were purchased from Manheim. If you are in doubt, you can see the pictures at this link:

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-722929.0.html

As for the pictures, any one can get pictures from craigslist and post them on here. You don't fool me. You said you get all your cars from Manheim. I will not argue with you, but i just hope you are for real and not one of those guys who spoil our name, both here and in Naija. Also you said you charge 300 bucks wink we both know that's a lie, the normal price I have seen almost all dealers charge is $500 and I am in chicago which is far bigger than Baltimore and has waayyyyyy cheaper taxes. If you are for real, give me the name of your dealership, I will look it up.

Bizbooks., thanks for taking your time to do this,  It's really helpful to a lot of people willing to buy cars.
Just ignore yods1000,  seriously not making any sense to me,  she should set up her own thread.
And she should stop asking for VIN or trying to post as an administrator and later wanting to sell cars to people,
Don't get caught up in the web,  This is your thread so anyone who is on your thread should be for buying and not to sell,  IF they want to sell. they should create a new topic.
I think what I wrote, made sense to anyone who was open minded, there is nothing to be afraid of if he knows he is for real, a VIN will not give me an edge or anything, it will just allow me to find the cars faster.  This is a forum to learn and selling cars on here will not stop him from selling his, I had an infiiti fx45 for sale and I told the guy to check it, that doesn't mean biz books can't get him a better deal. I have never even been on nairaland before this but I felt the vehicles were wrongly priced that was why I had to open an account to point somethings out. I wont be coming on here again, but I'll just advise anyone to double check before they pay huge amounts of money and get salvage cars in return (especially flood cars). America is a very big place and there are lots of naija peeps here selling cars, but some are very dishonest and this causes lots of dealers here not to want to deal with Nigerians.Those who have been doing this for a while know that his pricing is off but no wahala like we say  cheesy , he is not fooling me, I don't need to sell cars on nairaland, did not even know about the site until yesterday.

Will also like to apologize to biz books, I should not have said you are new to this, should have rephrased that statement. Not trying to discredit you and will love to do business with you in future. I sell cars to banks and companies, send me your email so I can contact you grin good luck.

@Yods1000
You might have meant well but i think you went about it the wrong way, bizbooks sounds reasonable enough and i applaud you for apologizing, it is not in naija peoples spirit to apologize even when they realize they might be wrong. It takes a great deal of maturity and civility on ur part to do that, so just ignore the rest of the people calling you haters.

@Yods,

Think i enjoyed you 100% and like you said, their's enough space to accomodate everybodi and if you ain't got anything to hide, then flaunt it. Naija peeps need to be able to filter what is good and what is true.
Would like to do business with you. Holla me @ lakinwole@yahoo.com

Oct 21, 2011: I called the shipping company today. It turns out the vessel did not leave on the 20th as scheduled. New sailing date is November 3. Delays such as these are facts of life in the shipping business. That is one reason why I am reluctant to give 30 day delivery estimates on pre-orders.

If you don't have the time to follow this diary, click the link below for a complete break down of the shipping process:

Sorry, the 4Runner landed without incident about 10 days ago. It is now parked in Lagos awaiting it's journey to the East.

I OBSERVED THAT THIS ISSUE STARTED SINCE OCTOBER. TILL DATE. SO IT TAKES 2 MONTH OR SO TO SHIP A CAR? PLEASE CLARIFY. I AM LOST

The vehicle would have arrived a long time ago but the vessel was delayed. If you look at my comment for October 21 above, you will see that the vessel's departure date was moved from October 20 to November 3rd. In essence, the vehicle arrived 2 weeks late.

My standard estimate for delivery to Lagos is 30 - 45 days.
Re: Shipping A Car To Nigeria - A Diary (Now With Pictures). by Nobody: 5:12pm On Dec 08, 2011
The issue of shipping cars from U.S to Nigeria is not an easy task as many people (customers) think. I made a shipment since 26th October and it is still not out of U.S yet. I just made another shipment just two weeks ago for three cars coming to Lagos. I have no idea when they are going to be shipped yet. I have been shipping cars and containers to Nigeria for years and it has always been like that. There is need to for customers to be very patient because when cars are shipped, there is possibilities of those cars waiting for U.S Customs clearance could be at the port for at least 45-60 days before they are loaded on to the vessels.

I see all the time when the so called big dealers on nairaland promise to get cars shipped to Lagos within 45 days, which I believe is almost impossible. So there is need for customers to be patient. Your cars will get to Lagos eventually.

[b]It is POSSIBLE, as long as you are willing and ready to pay the clearing charges at Five Star terminal . . . . Grimaldi seems to be the good one, but for the ride to leave from America it is a pain in the butt.

Shipping out of Canada is another thing too, cos the vessel has to transit via Spain and Spain is always busy these days . . . . but like you said, the most important thing is to educate your buyers as well as keep them posted.

Once the ride sailed and the list of rides on the vessel is out . . . within couple of days the BOL Must be ready, except if the shipping cost is yet to be paid.
