I bought a Nigerian used car in 2021and collected all the relevant documents. But on getting home I realized the cmr was missing. I called the seller about it and was told it's been misplaced. I went ahead to renew the papers and got another cmr. I have using the car with the old plates. I got a call this year from someone who calms to be from car monitors asking if i was the one that registered the car. I was confused I said no so he told me to send my full names and the color of the car so he could flag it . I don't understand can someone please assist. Please note I have renewed the papers twice since buying it.
