One thing have noticed in Nigeria is that it is very very very hard to acquire much assets with your salary alone without short cuts.
People with lower salaries but with short cuts will achieve more than a big salary earner.
My friend works with nestle. A regional sales manager and earn around 350k per month though many bonuses and allowances but no matter what, he lives far far far more than his salary.
He has never bought tokunbo car in his life.
He buys brand new tear nylon jeeps every blessed 2 years while me wey they earn far far far far more than him, him no dey even see my back. Na tukuteke we dey drive up and down.

To those that think military coup is the best way to stop major impunity in civilian government, you can now see the properties that only one army chief whose salary might not upto 2m acquired while in service.

The reality is that, every single soul in Nigeria is hopelessly corrupt due to uncertainty of future.

African need to solve her physiological needs, the only reason whites are less corrupt is because their governments take care of the children, old people, poor people and unemployed. The root causes of corruption in Nigeria is poverty and uncertainty of future.

Older officers and Generals do not really initiate coups. Coups are led mainly by younger officers, Colonels and Captains and can still happen in Nigeria.

Seriously, his asset should be probed to ascertain how he came about this property when it was obvious he was a civil servant.
