These missiles carry warheads that are independently targetable. Which means they can be sent multiple targets once they are in American Airspace. Even with a yield of 1-2 kilotons per warhead, the rest is history if even 10 warheads go through.

Last year, Vladimir Putin said: “In the near future, Sarmat ICBMs will be put on combat duty for the first time.

“We know there will be a certain delay in time but this does not change our plans - everything will be done.”
