dhamsol: Mr femi, pls what is the clearing cost for a toyota highlander 2013 model Based on Customs valuation Chart then it would cost N2.3m but would advise to ship it Roro on Sallaum or Eukor line as we might be able to get a lowered customs valuation for those terminals. alexius15: The only way is to pay customs duty for a lower year which i would never want to be a party to. Reasons are stated below 1 - If it doesn't work out then you would spend more than what one wanted to save. 2 - You risk loosing thousands of Naira to Customs federal operation units that regularly ply our highways in form of Bribe or worst a total seizure of your vehicle if you refuse to play ball. 3 - Lastly,i would loose future profit from future patronage due to tarnished image/reputation if i encourage short paying customs and the worst happens. For PTML, Customs Value (Tariff) is likely to be (without load) #627,917 (approximately 630 bcs of exchange rate) - Shipping Charges (without load) = 32,000 Processing fee (settlement & all sorts ) = 20,000 (without load) Service Fee = 20,000 Summing it up, you have approximately 702k.
