This amount you quote as clearing cost, for example the 230k for the EOD excludes the shipping cost? And if so, how much is the cost of shipping on your advised shipping line (RORO and Grimaldi)from America? Thanks man for the insight. Most of us are scared of buying cars from abroad because of all these issues, but i think with good insight and contact like yours, we may just give it a try... Thanks Bruv.

The Quoted amounts is for clearing the variegated buy options from the Lagos ports.
Shipping cost varies but in the $1200 range.

It is imperative to get BOL to me 2days before the Vessel's ETA so we can start entry to enable us get vehicle cleared pronto upon arrival at the Lagos Port.

The definition of the loaded personal effects would determine the clearing cost.
If non of the items in it is neither contraband nor new items then N320k would clear it,if loaded with CB and new items then the best I can do is N350k.

If on Grimaldi shipping line,N650k would get it cleared.
It is tagged a "special vehicle" and thus attracts a higher duty.

I have a 2012 Honda Accord waiting to be shipped from Los Angeles. Please what is the cost of clearing the car in Nigeria. Also, what do you advise as the best way to ship the car to Nigeria.

In addition, what is the cost of clearing 2010 and 2011 Camry. I am thinking about buying and shipping either of 2010 or 2011 camry with the already purchased 2012 honda.
