charles009: New phase of manhood initiating. You will now know how much you can really sacrifice for your family. I'm speaking from a lot of experience: Bro, e no easy! But then....... No one said it's easy being a man. All I will advise is, build good rapport with your coworkers and boss, be ready to cover for others so they can cover for you when you go home to see your lovelies. Plan to go either fortnightly or once every 3 weeks.....make it regular (equally spaced) so your workplace gets used to it. When you have the chance to move your family, then do so, but this should depend on how frequent transfers can happen. It's not too good to shift young kids about frequently. 2 Likes |

charles009:Pls make effort to settle quick so your family can join you in Lagos, it is easier to say you will visit once but once duty calls you might not even visit for months, your wife is comfortable with it for now but soon she will not and it might rub up on your great and wonderful family. All the best bro 1 Like |

Don't start what you can't continue with the promise of once in a week visit to ENUGU. It's not feasible on the long run. You may start having issues with your lovely wife when you can no longer come once in a week. Also, the risk involved and the cost are not worth it. Once is a month with steady communication. Good luck!!! 2 Likes |

OP is either worried his wife can't manage the home while he's away or worried they'll fok his wife! OP put your mind at rest, your wife is loyal but are you? Charles009 |

MySolace:None... But IconicR was actually self-biased because she felt the man didn't "List" his love for the whole family, only the kids, hence her accusations... So if the man had responded Nd said something about the wife, all would have been well... But u see dat other one, just carry the matter for head 2 Likes |

A year is too long to be separated from your family o! I have seen families torn apart from this kind of separation. The temptation for adultery becomes more pronounced and the risk of traveling in Nigeria so often is very huge these days. I think 3months max is enough for her to join you with the kids. Unless she has a job that contributes heavily to the family upkeep in Enugu, why is she so reluctant to move with you?! Hopefully, she doesn’t have a boyfriend that is making it difficult to move with you asap. |

TimT:Wait, u actually concur with her dat d man didn't mention his wife? Dats not true. The man said my relatively young family...(d wife and kid inclusive). D family is still young, barely 7years marriage. So, I think d gal(abi lady, abi woman, abi na grandma sef ...na joke o...) accused him wrongly, and of not mentioning d wife. ...she honestly went off d line, making d AdvancedDNA guy to attack her straightaway. Misconception is all I've seen. |

MySolace:When u love someone unconditionally, you won't generalize their name. Infact, their name will always be on the tip of your tongue.. What stops the man from saying "My wife and my kids"? Besides his wife came first before the kids abi love of the wife don tire the man? That's not misconception. Make we rest abeg .... We don too carry person matter for head 🤣🤣 |
