While one does not condone the actions of Ghadafi for authorising the 'killing" of his people during the uprising it was not an excuse for the NTC people to summarily  kill him. The rule of engagement does allow a captive to be shot before trial. It boils down to same of same.

Don't mind them . Some folks are very fond of revising history incorrectly. Ghadaffi was nothing but a deluded megalomaniac . Good riddance to bad rubbish. All very politically correct to work the angle of "Ghadaffi murdered post capture" but what about the thousands the dictator of 42 years sent to their premature death?

Gaddafi was beaten to death by the very people he ordered jet fighters to attack when they were mere unarmed protesters.
No death could be more deserved. In fact, he should have been beaten from town to town for a month before being filled with bullets and thrown in the bin.
