3k for a family of 4 and you want her to cover his shame? Somebody that comes from a well to do family should deprive her children of good food because of shame? That is not wisdom it’s foolishness. Granted she shouldn’t rub it in her husbands face, but no matter what he will feel inferior because he’s not financially stable. I won't advise someone from a humble background to marry over pampered rich kid, the only girl for that matter, no matter what, she will not understand where you are coming from because she has never suffered in her life. I believe you knew this before marrying her so I suggest you work harder to give her everything she wants.
