Job Responsibilities
 
• Maintain accurate financial records daily to ensure proper bookkeeping.
• Efficiently handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable to support smooth financial operations.
• Thoroughly process and meticulously verify invoices to uphold precision in financial transactions.
• Skillfully address inquiries and concerns related to general accounts, fostering clear communication within the financial context.
• Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure the alignment and accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Generate detailed financial reports and summaries, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
• Proactively identify areas for financial process improvement, implementing effective solutions to optimize workflows.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards.
• Continuously update and stay abreast of relevant financial regulations and best practices to maintain a high level of competence in the role.
 
Job Requirements
 
• HND/BSC in Accounting with a Minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower
• 1-2 years cognate experience (Accounting experience in an audit firm is an added advantage)
• Meticulous attention to details
• Strong numerical skills
• Must be proficient with Excel or other accounting software such as Sage 50
• Keen interest in financial analysis
