I got a sumec FIRMAN GENERATOR spg 3000 this month and lo and behold, the fuel tank busted and fuel is leaking.

Will the company repair it?

I got it for 239k.

Nigerians please advice me.

Sorry bro. I bought my own 2009 till today it's serving me with noiseless sounds. Two times pull it's starts. My was 2400 at 34k as at then. I equally use it to pump water and it's still working fine.

Fake gen. If you want to buy gen..the fakes will be surplus at the store..while the original will be at the warehouse. Pls note.thats a fake ass gen of 100k.sold to u .hahahahaha.

Even in the physical markets, you still have to be very watchful and careful. Some Nigerians will never buy any expensive commodity without involving an expert. Before buying phone, a phone engineer will accompany them to the store --- a mechanic will follow them to buy car --- even a carpenter will follow them to the sawmill to avoid buying fake wood.

It is bad. What is now the job of SON, the organisation checking out substandard products.

It hurts to buy a product at an expensive price and yet find out it is fake.

Physical stores will be filled to the brim with diff models of fake china gen. While the expensive and original one will be in their warehouse.... maybe about 30 to 50 meters away from shop.

One rogue salesman or store man would just conive to send you fake gen gotten from chinedu shop and remove the original from the store to sell to another at a discount rate and then pocket the balance....!!

34k as of 2009? Or you mean 2019, cuz I truly doubt it was that expensive as of that time.

Mine was 3000 just like OP which I bought 2016 for around 35k.

Worst part is, I called the company and they said they will change the fuel tank and I will also pay the tfare of the engineer coming to fix this.

I feel so cheated. I want to drag Sumec FIRMAN for this. Help me get this to front page.

An engineer from the company came and repaired it. He even registered me on their mobile app.

It's still a fake gen. Forget that cloth. Na scam
