Duni Foods (A subsidiary of Duni Limited) a growing food and beverage company, is seeking to hire an enthusiastic and driven independent sales representative to drive company sales by persuading customers to purchase our products.
Position: Independent Sales Representative. Location: Lagos (Remote). Job Type: Contract. Salary: Based on Commission. 5% commission on revenue weekly
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Would be responsible for acquiring new clients for the company via a door-to-door approach. • Present, promote, and sell our premium portfolio of snacks using solid arguments to our target customers. (supermarkets, open markets, etc). • Meeting with prospects to introduce the company and provide samples. • Follow up on necessary procedures (if any) to establish a supply. • Follow up with clients until a regular supply is established. • Meeting targets set by management. • Providing progress reports every week. • Promote the optimal display of products in different stores. • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling. • Improve product shelf displays at all designated stores within your reach. • Hasten the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction. • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. • Processing store orders as appropriate. • Identify new supermarkets/stores with high traffic for possible entry. • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, and track sales and status reports. • Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. • Developing relationships with floor managers, shelves, and procurement managers to aid the business. • Perform any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT & SKILLS • Candidates should possess an OND, or HND / BSc in any discipline. • One(1) year minimum of trade sales experience. • Excellent communication/presentation skills. • Cheerful and persuasive. • Must have FCMG experience. • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative. • Exceptional customer service skills. • Having your customer database is a plus. • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales. • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills. • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
