Stella Maris, the wife of the celebrated Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu, reportedly ordered the arrest of his adopted daughter, Jasmine, and two of his sons. This shocking development was announced by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who alleged that Jasmine and Ibu's sons were arrested and detained at Alagbon Police Station for moving N300 million donated by Nigerians and fans of the actor out of his account.
On November 6, 2023, ailing Nollywood veteran John Okafor, A.k.a Mr Ibu, underwent seven surgeries in a hospital in Lagos. Even worse, the comic actor had one of his legs amputated to increase his chances of survival. Sadly, while the 62-year-old actor is fighting hard for his life, his wife, Stella Maris Okafor and his adopted daughter, Jasmine, have been fighting dirty over funds donated by well-meaning Nigerians across the globe.
