Ofunaofu: The boys lack wisdom; they should inquire about the situations of Ortom and Ikpeazu, who supported Wike. Wike is perceived as self-centered, leveraging people for personal gain. His actions often deviate from his declarations, revealing a lack of integrity and consistency. 1 Like |

badoh: If Tinubu was a working president he`d tell Wike who is working for him to leave Rivers state alone but sad enough he survives by cornering the wealth of the pple into his pocket so he sees nothing wrong in what his minister is doing, and pple like u that have no principle are the ones encouraging them. I spit on ur corrupt face. 3 Likes |

Crass governors we have got in this country. Last time it was Osho Baba that removed the roof of the house of assembly complex ...now this one decided to demolish the entire complex to rebuild. Has there been any tender to begin the construction of a new one? chokekachy: |

Freebills12: I dey laff u...... Are you new to this game? The other group have been sitting with a maze too. Maze can be gotten anywhere. That's not a big deal. At this point, any group can get any convenient location for sitting. It must not be the location proposed by the governor. He doesn't have such powers. There'll be no meaningful development in Rivers for the next 3yrs. The budget na for politicians to see money chop. We've seen this many times in my state Edo. In the end let the court decide who's who at the higher courts. Don't forget the both factions have court orders in their favour to allow them operate. But one thing I can bet you is that SIM can never return as governor and this his term will be turbulent all thru. If he's lucky to finish it. You'll begin to see illegality upon illegality going forward. |

Lo, even SIM will be happy to finish first term and not return for second term at this point. What WIke planned for him is really bad, so he is like a dying horse kicking to survive. That is what a man should do and not fold arms and allow your enemies to swallow you without a fight. Someone that is yet to complete 1 year and they are about to take the sit away from him and you are talking of second term. Indispensable85: 2 Likes |

"In the interim, the Rivers State Government has provided an alternative venue for the House of Assembly to conduct their affairs pending the rebuilding of the complex". Certainly this alternative will not be accessible to Amaewhule and his gang. Going by Wike's angry bust out one day as the governor, the group of 27 have lost their seats |

Johnycastro18:I'm with Sim 100%. Wike should be taught a bitter lesson of his life. He is too greedy and selfish. How can you buy nomination forms for all the assembly members and the governor so that you can control all of them. He wants to be eating in APC and be eating in PDP. 3 Likes |

SyrusdeHansome: You're funny at less by an half, firstly the speaker doesn't have any right to declare any office vacant expect the orders come from the Court. Every defection has a reason and it's the court that will determine whether it's reasonable to defect with seat or not. However, you take about what happened in Akwa-Ibom when those seat were declared vacants. Firstly, let me correct an impression that Onofiok Akpan Luke didn't because they detected rather it was the court judgment that empowered him to do that. I vividly recalled that the high court judgment comes by Wednesday, the clerk got the proceeding on Thursday and same day emergency plenary was held and their offices were declared vacants before they can get stay on execution on Friday at court of Appeal to enable them fill appeal. Secondly, you're challenging the federal might for OBJ not to succeed in fighting Tinubu... Do even care to know who was before 1999 election and who were the beneficiary of the 1999 the said election. It was the NADECO members. Let leave Tinubu out, what happened to others? You wanna compare Tinubu that made himself a governor to SIM who was only spoon-fed to become one. Another misconception of you is to think that Attah has personal issue with Obj, Attah was the chairman Niger Delta Governor Forum, a forum that fight for resource control esp for abolishment of upshore and onshore oil dicotomy. It more like committing a fallacy of thinking that Tinubu is fight Niger forgetting that it's ECOWAS decision and he needs to spearhead it as the chairman of forum. Lastly, you mentioned udom and Buhari, do you think Buhari was interested in who win or loss in any election? I think though I might be wrong that what happened was that someone was trying to impress the party bigwig in the national not Buhari to deliver the state for APC which might be possible but the sabotage makes it difficult. Key Note. Onofiok didn't declare those offices vacant for defecting rather it was the high court judgment that empowered him to do so. |
