Focus: As Unto the Lord

The word for today
Whatever will last and please God is what is done based on God's specifications and not on men's. Our world will be a wonderful place if all things will be done as unto the Lord!

The major problem of our generation is nothing else but ignoring the precept of God. If every man is mindful of the fact that God is involved in all affairs, things will fall into their rightful place.

Sometimes when we observe developed countries, we admire most of what we see in terms of infrastructure, technological advancement, service to humanity, and plans and vision for its citizens. Going through the memory lane and history, you will discover that men who were at the helm of various affairs of the country were men who performed their duties as if they were serving God.

You also have an opportunity today, you are a servant of God in the domain of your placement. Do away with eye service, live not your life to please men. Render your services with the fear of God. You will be held responsible for every life lost on the account of your service be it a Pastor, Teacher, Doctor, Engineer, Lawyer, Politician, Scientist, Journalist, Banker, Accountant, etc.

Are you serving God with your profession?

Lord! Help me to serve you with whatever I am and will be in Jesus' name. Amen!
