I couldn't agree more,most times those their kids tend to exhibit same characters.

Characters transcends,it touches all aspect of one's life,be it marriage,friendship,motherhood,sisterhood,work,business,gbogboe.

Myself and my siblings are poles apart in relation to my Mum's nature, pssfffft.

Sometimes not like that, what made her bad, to whom is she bad to? The kids may understand her actions and be sympathetic with her reasons, hence she will reciprocate with love and care to her kids. Bad wifes could be good mothers, simlpes.

Its true, and if her child sees what she's doing, surely the child will do it also when if its in its right age already.

bad wife - her relationship with you is bad.
bad mother - her relationship with her kids is bad.

it's not written in stone.
she might not love you wholeheartedly but loves her kids.

And to add, on avg, Nigerian women tend to separate their emotion for their husband from their children. Nigerian women tend to love their children and are more motherly towards them.

Although it also depends on individual's definition of bad mother.

IMO, Men's behavior tends to weigh more in parental disciplinary system. If a man is a bad husband, that would affect the child more than it would if the woman was a bad mother.

Our attitudes, behaviors may or may not change depending on who we're dealing with. An awful father makes a great senator, an abusive wife makes a great preschool teacher.

There are bad wives that are not hostile and i have seen women who are hostile to everyone else but spoil their kids.

However in most cases a person's character transcends to their entire life.

There is a thin line which separates being a mother and being a wife
Whatever character a woman develops for her husband does not in most cases extend to the child
And further more not all kids tend to emulate the characters of their parents
Just as they grow up their environment or other factors determines their Personality in most cases

I totally disagree with u cos I ve a living example of someone I know not to be a Good wife but I can also testify to the fact that she's a very good mother, infact a mother any responsible child even me will dream to ve. But, I don't wish she should be my wife for 24hrs not to talk of lifetime.
