Tomorrow marks it 3 weeks my baby is here with the mother(39 weeks 5 days). She did 4 scans all tru her pregnancy. The latest one was my concern when we notice discomfort amd the report didn't seems well. Remember induction is a forceful way to extract a baby and very painful and most tyms as I was told the baby might be too weak to accept such procedure. Don't induce anything madam. That baby should be allowed for another two weeks, except there is a problem before you consider interfering in the natural process. Would you rather a child requiring neonatal intensive care or a healthy bouncing baby? I am sure the latter. So, just be patient. Abeg

At 39 weeks plus, you still have time a bit.

Usually, medical induction would be offered you at 41 plus 2-5 daysbefore your 42nd week is completed.

I Lost My Baby Daughter and Wife this Year Due to Negligence from the Hospital she was same date as you when she got to the Hospital spent 4 Days Died the 5th Day after Delivery.

Well then I totally disagree with the topic.

I've worked with reproductive care specialists and I've seen so many avoidable cases of loss of mother and child or either one to know how delicate it is.

And for your info, a lot of people take advice and prescription outside of medical circles because of this so-called "experience" which sometimes end up harming them and their babies.

You're also making the same mistake. There's a choice for O&G specialist to make between induction, CS or waiting for natural birth in this circumstance that is not just done based on experience but on verified lab tests and other parameters.

Nobody can do that for the pregnant Op here. Some people are already recommending ewedu while another is saying go to a spiritualist!

This year alone, I know how many mothers have been lost at childbirth. Just yesterday, a family visited me with their grandchild whose mother died after childbirth two years ago. Childbirth is not child's play where everyone should be forming experience.

Let her face her doctors and family members for support and care not individuals who hardly know her and her pregnancy.
