When you see these kind of advises from the UN. Believe me US is already about to send some terrorist to your country, they re trying to propose a law that will stop you from killing them when caught. Nigeria should execute serial killers silently without pushing the news to the press

A killer deserves death as well . God is against blood shed, anyone opposing capital punishment is opposing God's rule.

That means we go soon start Jungle Justice..

Hi Chief . I said capital punishment, not jungle justice.

Killers had to be tried in Moses' day. There had to be two or three witnesses, and there were dedicated executioners.

Even manslaughter was not excused, they were however allowed to escape to a land of manslaughterers, and did not have to face death as it was mans slaughter.

Our modern legal system is based on the above law fine tuned into modern times, but are quickly drifting from God's standard. The wrath of God is coming on them. If Nigeria adopts their policy then I see a worsening of crime and I see convicted murderers being granted state pardon by corrupt leaders. For as it stands now very few governors are even signing off death sentence, but at least it leave murderers behind bars.

The God of the Jew is the only God there is and holds human life sacred. Its approximately 2000 years since those laws were given yet He has not changed His mind or His feeling about murders and taking a life we cannot create.

Kindest regards.

They tend to take the side of the culprit and treat them like victims. It's gross, same with Amnesty International. Capital offences deserve capital punishment epically where it is proven that the offence was not committed in error. That it was premeditated.

Have you noticed that the US and other western nations rarely obey the UN πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³ recommendations? you know why ? because the UN πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³ always focus on political correctness than reality

Me I am advocating for public execution of kidnappers and armed robbers and the UN πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³ is here talking rubbish 😀

Life imprisonment is more better than the death sentence.

Don't talk like that, I know it hurts but death is too harsh for human. Life imprisonment with hard labour much more better.

So it will encourage more crimes to be committed

Afterall we can't waste state resources on such criminals by keeping them in prisons.

Death penalty is a deterrent against heinous crimes,

The UN is a strong arm if pink supremacy: they love to see disorder, chaos and lack of accountability in Afrikan nations.

Tell them to ask :
Saudi
Bahrain
USA
China
Thailand
Russia
Oman
Malaysia
Afghanistan

...et Al to renounce the death penalty.
Useless democratic arm of the KKK.

I am with you on this. Public execution is right. If I were in a position of authority as gov I would sign their execution warrant same day I verified their case and complicity.

Their NGOs provide legal assistance and medical support to captured Boko Haram terrorists.
Too bad. They are not helping the issue at all. And one hear of repentant Boko Haram members who are officially pardoned and absorbed into security outfits where they trade sensitive information with their alter egos in the forest leading to endless carnage of the finest officers. lipsrsealed

the man came because of the chinese

ecolime:
Probably one of the reasons Blinken came. With his visit, I knew several useless advises will start coming from UN, World Bank, etc.

Years ago, US Presidential visits or visits from their top officials used to come with so much fanfare but nobody send their Papa again. Everybody don wise up. Their hypocrisy has made them lose all moral rights to 'Global leadership'.

If wicked people know the maximum sentence they can get for a crime like murder is life imprisonment, there will be no deterrence.

Why on earth should people like Rev. King and Evans be given life imprisonment? Doesn't make sense. They deserve capital punishment.
